The Body Computer is one central device with its opportunity for integration of a Central Gateway (CGW) functionality to ensure communications between different buses and different domains. Beside CAN buses the Body Computer also supports LIN, Flexray and Ethernet bus systems. The Body Computer is also a server for distributed mechatronic components. They can be integrated to a higher level of functionality and can easily be adapted to different customer requirements.
